The gypsy moth population is still on the rise in southeast Wisconsin. This is a Wisconsin DNR site with information on the gypsy moth and the state's suppression program.
Emerald Ash Borer
The Emerald Ash Borer is an insect that is devastating ash trees in Michigan and Maryland. There is no indication of the EAB in Wisconsin yet, but authorities belive it was in Michigan for 10 to 15 years before it was noticed.
